How much fertiliser should I be putting on my lawn each year?

Lawn fertilisers are vitally important to lawn health and a lot of people never think much about them. They can often be the difference between a strong lush green lawn and a lawn which is not so healthy.
Lawns will need to be fertilised every 2 months throughout the year. Using a Winter Fertiliser in May and July, and a standard fertiliser for the rest of the year.
